MIX CRITIQUES

It’s time to get your mixes professionally evaluated.  A mix critique is a detailed, candid analysis of your mix, with suggestions for improvement if necessary. Mix critiques by an experienced professional (not personally involved in the project) can be extremely helpful for improving your mixes by putting “another set of ears” on the project before final prints, or before sending it off to the client or mastering engineer.

You’ll receive valuable feedback on the balances and sounds, and tips on what you can do to improve the mixes. Use these critiques to identify mix issues and get insight into your mixing style and how your mixes translate to the rest of the world.

Wow.  This is a great analysis of my mix.  I get all of it that you are saying.  Your ears are ridiculous.  You’re like a bat. I really appreciate your honesty and telling me the good and bad.  It was nice to hear that there was not too much bad things, but now I see where improvements can be made. ~Albert

This is a great opportunity to get another perspective on your mixes and see how your balances and tones come across in another listening environment.  In a detailed analysis report, Sean will highlight the strengths and provide suggestions for overall improvement. Pricing is per-song, just add the number of songs you want critiqued to your cart.

Once you’ve placed your order, send your mixes to mixingtheband@gmail.com.  Sean will listen to and thoroughly evaluate them, and you’ll receive your detailed critiques by email.

Wow that is a great mix critique. Thank you so much for providing such detailed feedback. This is really going to help me put the finishing touches on the song and make it sound even better. I really appreciate how much advice you’ve given me on things to look at improving on the various elements of the song. You have a very well tuned up ear and this is a great service you provide. Well worth the small fee you charge. ~Steve
