Mixing The Band™ founder Sean Shannon is a music producer, mixing engineer, musician, and educator with 30 years of professional experience in studios, live venues, and on the road. He is a former drummer for Pat Travers, Molly Hatchet, and Brian Howe (Bad Company), and is the chief engineer and instructor for Mixing The Band™.

Sean earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in The Science of Music Production in 1987, and has produced, mixed, mastered, and/or played drums on hundreds of songs and records released worldwide for record labels and independent artists, many in studios he himself built.

Sean teaches mixing in the studio at The Mixing Workshop™. Mixing The Band™ is the home study version of the in-studio training program.

Sean has been making great recordings for years but, around the same time I got my falsetto back and started writing a lot of songs, he found a new tone, or a new way to tune his recording room.
